October 10, 2007- Letter expressing concern over the final I-81 Tier I Environmental Impact Statement, particularly the emphasis on toll-funded highway widening in Shenandoah County.
November-December, 2006- Augusta County Board Chairmen ask Senator Webb for clarification on funding for minor safety improvements and how it relates to the larger planning process of the I-81 corridor.
September 18, 2006- This letter asks Governor Kaine to revise the Draft Environmental Impact Study so that it presents a full picture of alternatives to widening options and the impacts of Build Alternatives.
June 28, 2005- Letter to Congress expressing concern over a proposal to fund an I-81 toll road under a federal bill. SVN believes the I-81 toll project should not receive federal funding if it fails to receive the necessary environmental permits.
